Christmas tree ornaments:
First thing we all would do after cleaning is setting up the
Christmas tree. Once we have the
Christmas tree decorated is when the house is decorated.
There are several ways to make simple DIY decors that can be
easily done at home in less than 5 mins of time. And several smart ways to use
all they things lying around at home that can be colored, glued and glittered
to make simple yet elegant crafts. These of course would be loved to be made by
our little ones as it would be displayed and appreciated!
One of the important craft item for Christmas tree ornament
making is POPSICLE. Most of the items can from Christmas tree to snowflakes to
fairies can be made using the Popsicle. So here are some simple easy ornaments
we can make using Popsicle sticks. Best part is we can enjoy the ice creams
with the little one when we are running short of may be two or three Popsicle
sticks :P There are times when I had
deliberately forgotten where the Popsicle sticks are kept so that I can have the
ice creams with Aadya and then use the sticks. Of course washed properly before
use!!
1. Christmas tree using popsicle sticks:
There are different methods of making
Christmas tree using popsicle sticks.
(i)
Christmas tree using three craft sticks glued in
a triangle shape and then the wrapping green wool around the two sticks to make
a tree. No crafts could be made colorful with out using some colored beads or
pom-poms. This is a simple craft, idea got from Easy peasy and fun.
(ii)
Another easy way to make the tree is sticking
the three sticks in a triangular shape and then adding some rhinestones or the
pom-poms around the sticks.
(iii)
And to personalize the craft, on the above
craft, add a drawing or photograph as the background on the triangular shaped
popsicle stick tree.
(iv)
Glittering popsicle stick tree –this one is my
favorite, I guess, though all the trees are easy.. And the favorite is never
easy to make.. so this one might need more time than others to make. Check the
page for more details though the image is self descriptive.
(v)

different from all the above a cute page.

Snowflakes ornaments:
Another easy ornaments to make using craft
stick or the popsicle sticks are snowflakes. Glue few sticks together to make
the shape of snowflakes and color it or added some glitters or buttons to make
it colorful and the another super easy craft is ready!
(i)
Craft sticks and buttons to make snowflakes.
Either the plain or colored sticks can be used for this ornament craft and
stick some colorful buttons on it to make the super easy crafts.
(ii)
Stick the snowflakes in star shape and add some
glitters or rhinestone and pompoms to decorate and then stick the twine to
hang. Super easy one would shine on the tree. These can be made in different
sizes by cutting the sticks!
(iii)
This too is made similarly, but the only
difference is drawing patterns on the sticks using glitter pens
(iv)
Patterns of snowflakes other than regular star
shape: Different patterns can be made using big and small sticks.

Popsicle stars Christmas décor
Stars can be 5 pointed or 6 pointed, 6
pointed is easy to make. Three sticks glued in triangular shapes and three in
another triangle. Stick both triangles together to make a 6 pointed stars.
(i)
Take 5
sticks and glue it together in the pattern shown below to make a star. Stick a
ribbon hanger behind and color it and emblish it with some glitter, pom-pom or
sequins.
(ii)
Found the super cute pom pom Christmas tree star ornament that
every kids will enjoy making.
(iii)
Or we can make some yarn wrapped stars. Again can be made in different colors.
(iv)
Personalized photo framed stars can also be made as this one

Super duper cute Santa can be made using craft
sticks
Who doesn’t love santa? My favorite is
Santa Claus crafts.
(i)
I found this super cute and easy to make Santa.
I am sure kids would enjoy making it!

Another easy popsicle stick Santa to make is
here. And this one needs lesser sticks to make.
(iii)
Yet with one popsicle stick also we can make

Again very important item to make and hand
