15 easy to do paper and felt flowers

I was going through different websites to find  some easy to do paper flower craft. I came across very interesting ideas and thought it would be good to share those here. Paper Flowers Craft: Hyacinths

Hyacinth flowers are one among the favorite flowers. Love the color the bloom in. 

I tried making some of these bright colored flowers using paper. Paper flowers like the natural flowers don't wilt or fade. But yes, they do not have the fragrance like the natural flowers. But the rainbow colored flowers can be made to add color to the room!

Kids love doing paper crafts and this would be one of their favorite. Involve kids making these super easy hyacinth paper flowers and let me know how it came..

Materials needed

– color paper
– scissors
– toothpicks
– thin sticks
– glue

How to make it –

1. Cut the color paper into strips.
2. Wrap the strips and using a scissors cut the fringes. Make sure the bottom part of the paper strips is not cut.
3. Wrap each fringe around a toothpick to make curls to get the top part of the paper
4. strips with curled fringes.
5. Take a thin stick and start wrapping it with the paper strip, until you get the shape of a Hyacinth.
6. Use the glue to stick the paper on the stick.
7. Cut some green color paper pieces to make the leaves and cover the stem                                                           

DIY Easy Denim jewelry

     Denim is a special material for we craftspeople love to make most of the fabric stuff. It can be used in various crafts. The gradation of denim color is soft and very appealing. And the ultimate effect of any denim craft is very appealing.

     

     An old idea but still trending is the fabric jewels - especially denim jewelry.  These are light weight earrings, fun to make and definitely liked by everyone.  Denim jewels are classically elegant and can be worn with any daily wears.

Materials required making denim jewelry:

Scrap denim fabric

Jewelry making tools

Embellishment of your choice to make it more elegant

How to make:

Cut any shape of the choice from the denim fabric.

Put a hole on the top of the fabric.

Attach the fish hooks to the jump ring.

Thread the jump rings into the hole of the fabric.

Ta da! Denim fabric ear ring is ready. This is the simplest version.

The variations of fabric ear rings are endless. The size of the fabric is our choice. Gradation of denim colors can be used in one ear ring. Any add-ons can be used – Chains, rhinestone, embroidery, colored tassels, beads or any thing you feels goes with the fabric can be used.

DIY wall hanging

       Wall hangings are anything you can hang on the wall that adds the sense of your creativity and it gives a clue of how artistic you are, right?! We all love decorating all our rooms, be it living room, kitchen, bed room or our home offices. It brings the aesthetic look to the room. There are lot of ideas of DIY wall hanging you get online. Here, I have attempting to give an idea of just one of the home decors, which is extremely easy to make and can be hanged in any room..

Materials required:

Wooden branch
Yarn
Any shape cut outs
Beads

How to make it

1. Wrap the yarn around the wooden branch.
2. Tie a long yarn on the two sides of the branch, this will be to hang the wall hanging.
3. Tie the yarn to the branch at the equal distance.
4. Attach the cut outs to the yarn as patterned as you feel.
5. Put a bead at the end of each yarn.
6. Put a hole on the star and attach it to the yarn and tie it tightly.

Simple yet beautiful yarn is ready!!!

Home decor – Yarn wrapped bottle vases

This is a super cute DIY home decor to make with easily available bottles and some colorful yarn. It is simple, yet elegant and stylish.  It adds the color to the room and is hence my favorite room decor. 

Yarn wrapped bottle

Things you will need:

·         Glass bottles

·         Yarn of vivid and bright colors

·         Glue

·         Scissors

Method:

1.      Remove any stickers on the bottles and wash the glass bottles neatly and let them dry.

2.     Apply glue on the neck of the bottle and start winding the yarn

3.     Continue applying the glue on the bottle and wrapping the yarn till the end of the bottle.

4.     Different colors of yarn can be used on different bottles or different colored yarn can be added on the same bottle.

Theses bottles can be used as vases in any part of the house – be it the living room, kitchen or hall way. Please try this simple project and let me know how it looks. Thank you!
